so i've been getting the blue screen of death so i repaired windows because
the guy at my tech store said it was probably one of my drivers well i think
he was wrong but anyhow now my graphics card drivers are GONE it won't let me
install new ones (the VGA drivers) and alll my options and settings no longer
exist the card is an MSI FX5200-TD128 please help me

Ben, if you post here the message you get with the blue screen sometimes
it's valuable in narrowing down what the cause is.
If you did a Repair Install of WinXP because of a driver issue it's a
waste of time. Try this. First download a new Nvidia Driver from
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.98.html
Then
go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the Nvidia Driver if
you havent done this already. Then rt click MyComputer>
Select Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Display Adaptor>Msi card. rt click
on it and choose Uninstall.
Restart and tap F8 repeatedly until you get to a Menu. Select Safe Mode.
When XP loads up. Install the new Nvidia Driver.
Then restart & boot normally.

about the device manager display adaptor thing i don't have a display
adaptor option in the device manager sooo what should i do?

i got frustrated and before checking this i re installed windows completely
seems to be running fine now and smoothly but an oddity has come up after my
bios screen and the like it has a windows select screen like 2 diff windows
copies but it disappears in about a second or less then continues to bott
into windows like any other computer
