GPO to roll out a package

I want to deploy a patch from MS.

I did create the MSI and assign it to my GPO in my domain
Policy, clients can see it using gpresult..

however I have two questions:

The patch requires admin rigths to be installed to local
machine.. Does the AD dont need admins rights to machine
If i will use GPO to roll out.

I use assign options however I cannot find the software
installtion after I clik start button.. However I found
it in add remove programs/ add new programs..

How come.. I'm not doing publish?

You really want to stay away from creating a .msi file for use in the
deployment of hotfixes. You want to strongly consider looking at SUS for a
solution.
