GPO and Disabling Downloads

I was wondering if there is such a way to disable all
downloads, but just allow users to download from a
certain website. I currently have 3 OU's created. Each OU
has its own GPO, but when I go and make changes for
Disabling downloads in 1 policy it takes into effect in
all the other policies.

No you can't just prevent "Download" you have to take use of a Proxy server
then. I will recommend Microsoft ISA Server

What O/S are you using?

I have yet to see a setting in the Group Policy that has
a way to stop "Downloads".

Hey Steven,

We are using Windows 2000 Advanced Server. There is an
option under Internet Settings that allows u to disable
downloads.
