Google won't work

HI, after installing SP2 on XP Home I can't access
google.co.uk. Google.com is fine as are other websites.
This seems like either google.co.uk is blocking me or I'm
blocking it with some godforsaken IE setting. Can anyone
help? Please?

ps My XP Pro, SP2 laptop accesses Google UK fine from the
same ADSL connection.

No problem accessing it here; perhaps the UK site was down for a while. Wait
for a little while and try it again.

Nah man, I could access it on another machine from the
same site, it must be something up with my
machine/settings. I've tried it hours later and still no
joy. I think I may have built my machine on an Indian
Burial Ground... ;>

Hi!
Open "Hosts" which is in %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc folder by
notepad.exe.
Look for "216.239.57.104" which is the IP of google.co.uk.
Check if the IP is assigned to something.
