global ime Japanese

I recently purchased a computer with windows vista home premium. I want to
type Japanese script on emails and word documents. On my computer with
windows XP there was a download for Global Ime for Japanese scripts which
allowed you to utilise the script when you wanted. Do you know if there is a
similar download for windows vista? I have looked but can only find ones for
older editions. Thanks
