I have VroomSpeed installed, a dial-up Internet accelerator. I have
used others before but this seems superior to them. It is $3.00/month.
It works by compressing graphics and other files while downloading.
The trade off is that picture quality is compromised, but overall I am
extremely happy with it. Just do a Google search for VroomSpeed.

Have dialup-when downloading can't surf-WAY to slow-any

Dude, you have GOT 2 get the Avant browser!!!!Get it FREE
from www.download.com type in avant in the
search,it comes with tools to block loading flash
animation and pop-ups,if you choose to.I disabled the
flash and my dialup is humming along.(If I go to a site
that I want the flash I hit the flash button, and refresh
and it loads, works well with dial-up,25% faster than 6.0
IE,also speeds up AOL if you use it instead of AOL's
browser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
