Why do GIF file animation images display with no animation when originated
from this computer? When received as an email image from another computer
they correctly display as animations.

Is there an option that controls animations originated by this computer from
websites for GIF files?

Please advise. Thank you.

Check your IE6 internet options >>
ADVANCED,
check off "Play animations in web pages"

The IE6 Internet Options, Advanced tab option "Play animations in web pages"
is already checked off. These animations still do not work. Other
animations work but not the GIF file animations recently shared.

usually this can be caused by a corrupt hosts file located in the
widows\system32\drivers\etc directory. Renaming this file or deleting I have
found to work. Hope this helps

found windows\system32\drivers\etc.......what do I rename or delete?
