Ghost Message

I have a mailbox set up to receive calendar appointments. For several weeks
now, there has been a bolded '1' in the inbox, as if there is a new message.
However, there is nothing in the inbox. What could be causing this and how
can I get rid of it?

This is very strange.

Thanks,

Yes. There are no messages in the inbox, but the folder view in the left pane
has '1' bolded.

Try the following:

Use the Advanced Find option. Click the Advanced Find button
(Find>Options>Advanced Find). Click the second tab. Select the option
"Items that are" and select "Unread" from the drop-down list. Then, click
the Browse button to make sure that you first search the Mailbox. If nothing
comes up, click the Browse button again and select all other folders that are
not part of your Mailbox.

Post back to let me know what happens.

I am still coming up empty. I'm wondering it it could be a problem on the
Exchange Server?

I just right-clicked the bolded inbox and selected 'mark all as read'. At
least now, I don't have a bolded '1' showing up.

I've only ever seen this once where the message was in another users
inbox which I have access to read. A message had been sent marked as
Private and although I could see the bold 1 on the mailbox I coudl not
see the actual message.
