I have for unknown reasons a number of programs that will neither be
deleted nor reinstalled (e.g. Staroffice 5.1 and Java). The Java folder
has been removed, but when reinstalling it claims there is already a
Java. Same with SO.
I have used registry cleaner to check for errors.
At some point earlier all .exe files except MS native disappeared.
What is it that leaves an impression of remaining files and how do I
remove them for good so I can reinstall?
