Getting " this page cannot be displayed"

Using IE 6.0 SP2, I can get to a site but when I try to click to a second
level of the site I get "The page cannot be displayed "The page you are
looking for might have been removed or had its name changed." It then says
to click on the home page, which ALWAYS appears s: . If I scroll over s: it
shows RES//C:windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/syntex.htm#
I am unable then to access any windows updates.

I have done all spyware searches....

I also posted nearly the same problem today under the heading, SHDOCLC.dll
error, you should try reposting your question with that in the header line.
It is more specific than your "this page cannot be displayed." I posted my
questionunder IE6.0 and Windows98se
