Hello carol

Some instructions are below. Basically, you want to click the check box in
the upper left that says protect my computer.

1. In Control Panel, double-click Networking and Internet
Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. Right-click the connection on which you would like to enable ICF,
and then click Properties.

3. On the Advanced tab, click the box to select the option to Protect
my computer or network.

Carol, Go to the symantec site. Print out the whole
advisory on how to remove the worm, install the patch and
check you computer's registry. The instructions are step
by step and will explain how to use and disable various
functions on your computer. Be sure to boot your comuter
in the safe mode (again instructions are at the symantec
website, in the msblast.exe advisory, via hot-link for
how to boot the computer in safe mode). denn
