Getting rid of Norton/Sysmantic

The Seabat

Got a neighbor who is trying to get rid of Norton and all it's vile
little tentacles that have been strew around his 'puter. He is running
WinXP. Seems to me that I can recall that there was once a program
mentioned in this group that would remove all that insidious crap. Any
ideas? Thanks.

Hi Seabat - Norton NIS or Firewall Uninstall - do everything but the
reinstall stuff.

(Click on the little + signs to read the detailed instructions) For manual
removal, it may also depend on your OS. See at the end of this document for
appropriate links.

You may want to try their removal tool in compatibilty mode before trying
