Getting rid of MSN Gaming Zone

G

Guest

I am not interested in Program Files\MSN Gaming Zone, or any of the
programmes it contains, but it comes up with dire warnings if you try to
delete it. If you delete some of the executables individually they just
reappear. Is this directory really essential to the running of Windows XP? If
not how can I get rid of it?

Grateful for any suggestions.

You are going about it the wrong way. You need to uninstall not delete
these items.

To Remove a Windows XP Component
1. Log on as Administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
2. Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Add or Remove
Programs.
3. Click Add/Remove Windows Components. The Windows Components Wizard
starts.
4. Click on Accessories and Utilities and then click the Details button.
5. Uncheck Games and Click OK.
6. Follow the prompts.
