Getting registry from old computer

i had to reinstall xp and did not do a clean install. i
need to take the registry from my old windows and
integrate with the new. i never made a backup. what can i
do?

Such a thing isn't really possible. Tons of settings in the registry are
hard-coded to system hardware.

If this is a clean install, you need to reinstall your apps individually.
