JB,
right click on task bar, click properties, click start
menu tab, click on customize, click on advanced tab, under
start menu items find scroll programs at very bottom and
put a check mark and ok out everything.

Thanks KC..I did try that, but they do no collapse. Now the last time...a
few months ago, I remember it took a few tries before it
collapsed...........but nothing yet
