Getting new disk working to install win 2k pro on

I put in a new disk and a run thru the win 2k
installation, create a partition and when it
tries to go any further it tells me the partition
is not marked active? Any idea on how to do this
without win 2k running?

Please email me any info?

Boot up into DOS (Win98 start-up disk is fine too)
Run:

fdisk

select option 2 "Set active partition"
select your partition that you wish to be active

RESTART
