Getting error when tried to setup newsgroup

I tried to retrive messages from newsgroup and I keep getting error:
"Unable to connect to the server."

This is in details.

Configuration:
Account: msnews.microsoft.com
Server: msnews.microsoft.com
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0e

do you think port #119 is blocked on my internet?
