get scanned document into fax console to send

The process is actually pretty simple assuming you are using Windows XP.
I'll assume you are given the forum you've posted in.

Open your scanned document in an application (e.g open or paste it into
Microsoft Word) and follow the steps below:

How to Create and Print the Document
1.. On the File menu, click Print.
2.. In the Print dialog box, click Fax in the Name box.
3.. If you want to view the fax properties, click Properties. The Fax
Preferences dialog box is displayed. Click the properties that you want, and
then click OK.
4.. In the Print dialog box, click OK.

The Send Fax Wizard starts.
