get rid of mail message at login

How do I get rid of the mail message when I login, it is quite annoying
especially when I don't have the mail that it say that I do.

Hi,

To get rid of the messages about unread emails in the welcome screen
look in the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail

You will find a value called"MessageCount" change it to zero.

Alternatively, download tweakUI, which is part of Powertoys for
Windows XP and has a feature regarding unread mail messages:
