Get External Data

[Cassandra]

On the menu bar in Excel, when I click on Data, Get
External Data, and then New Database Query, Excel just
hangs and stops responding. There is never an error
message, it just stops working. What's causing this?

Excel: Hangs up on New Database Query

I have the same problem. Could not find any solutions in the internet. In my case it worked perfectly before. Re-installing Excel did not solve the problem. Could someone pls help us and many others who may have the same problem.
