There is a /flood/ of those spam emails recently and it seems to be
getting worse.
One measure for you to take, is to *mask* your real email address when
posting to newsgroups.
Use "delete" or "nospam" or similar as part of your email address when you
post.
The spammers have always harvested posters email addresses from newsgroups.
Another suggestion is to use email filtering programs like Mail Washer http://mailwasher.net
If I'm not mistaken, I think many of these German e-mails are being
distributed by the SOBER worm. I read this in the German press. Much of the
e-mail content is right-wing propaganda. Check the McAfee website for a
description of the worm.
