Windows XP language change

I have recently bought a laptop with Windows XP in German from Germany.
However, I wanted to have Windows XP in English but it is not available in
Germany. Thus, I am curious to know, how can I change my Windows XP from
German to English version?
Thank you for your inputs.
Regards

Well, You have Two options to have what you requested
1) having German Interface and at the same time having the ability to type
in English using an English keyboard layout by doing the following:
Control Panel--- Regional and Language Options---Click on Languages
Tab--- Click on Details--- then in the Text Services and Input Languages
Window Click on Add (which is in the middle of this window)---then flom the
Input Language list choose English (United States) or what ever-- Then in
the Keyboard layout/IME choose United stats-International-- then click on OK
for each window you have to save and exit

2) Having a Windows XP Multilanguage User Interface

3) Format your PC and install an English version windows XP

Hope that was Helpful

Only by buying and clean installing a complete new English version. There is
no way to change language versions.

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS to
another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of WinXP
(in whatever language you want) to perform a clean installation.
