Multi Language question

I'm implementing a multilanguage XP environment and am keen to understand the
impact this has on patching. The base XP is English. Are patches
multilanguage aware? ie do I just need to patch a German build for example
with the UK patch? MBSA run against a German client is listing UK patches,
also I notice patches downloaded from my WSUS (which is configured for only
English patches) displays the text of the patch in, for example, German. In
this case, why does the WSUS give you the option to select other languages?

I'm guessing that you say "multilanguage", you mean enabling different
languages in the regional/language settings area. If this is the case,
you're still running an English based version of XP, and it will not
have any affect on your patches, as your root system is still English
XP.
