Generic Host Process for Win32 has encountered a problem.....

I get this message and if cleared or send error data will repeatedly come in
every 5 seconds. The error message says the problem is in svchost.exe and the
Mod is upnphost.dll This has all the markings of a Worm. I have downloaded
the latest greatest Windows Service Bulletin and still is no good. It does
not matter if I am hooked up to the internet or not. I have not found
msblast.exe on any file. Can anyone help.................
 
Disable the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and the SSDP Discovery
Services. You don't need these things running on your computer. Don't
mistake the "Universal Plug and Play" service with the necessary "Plug
and Play" service. If you are on a corporate network consult your
network administrator for assistance.

You may want to try running sfc /scannow and see if everything is in working
order.
