general protection fault

I tried to run an application and it had been working
fine the day before today. But now It won't let me run
part of the application because an error message comes up
and says, "MTINEW caused a general protection fault"

Contact the mftr. of "Mtinew" for tech support. Be prepared to figure
out what changed between the time it worked and the time it didn't.
