General MS attitude toward design

I actually used 'force' to defend MS against someone who said we were
'conned'. It was a response to an off-topic comment, was a toungue-in-cheek
statement, and discussion here misses the entire point of the original thread.

I'm not sure what's so odd about the statement. I already admitted that
force was a poor choice or words. Call it what you like, but it is not
possible to remain with an older version for long and still use the software
required to do function in the vast majority of the business world. This is
a fact. So shoot me for using the word force. MS influence in the computing
industry is vast. Not a slam. Just a fact.

I'm catching a plane with my Windows laptop for a buisness meeting. Will be
out of town, so will not be here to comment further.
