Gateway DC-T20 Digital Camera

I Recently purchased a Gateway DC-T20 Digital Camera,
which comes with a CD-R with Drivers. The USB driver for
downloading pictures from the camera works perfectly.
When I try to use it as a PC Camera, Windows XP needs the
proper driver to do this. When I try to download it, I
always get a message that informs that this driver
doesn't complies the requirements of Windows XP. When I
download it anyway, not only the camera isn't recognized
as a PC camera, but when I try to "acquire" a pic through
the TWAIN wizard, the computer shuts down.
The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A15-S157 (Laptop)
Thanks for any help,
Mac

You cannot use this camera as a PC camera (i.e., webcam), you need to
purchase something like a Logitech (or other manufacturer) webcam.
