Games staying Minimized

As the subject says, all of my games are staying
minimized, anyone know how to fix this? it will maximize
for about 3 seconds and then kick me back to the desktop
with the game still minimized.

after you started the game, you should go to options in
game's main menu and change the screen resolution.
