G&G compatible ink cartridges`

I bought on Ebay what I thought were Epson ink cartridges, because of
very misleading advertising. The ad, the sales confirm, and the
shipping confirm all showed them as OEM cartidges. I didn't see the
word compatibles anywhere.

I received compatibles, the brand being "G&G" Needless to say I
shipped them back. I never got a refund. I filed with ebay and PayPAl,
and both said that they could not help ....Then I received my UPS
package back via UPS....with a notation that they MOVED!!!

The name of the ebay store email is (e-mail address removed). And, possibly
the web site would be "www.1direct.com I suppose by now they've been
washed out of business by using crummy sales and advertising tactics.

Question: Are these at least half-way decent compatibles which I can
use on my new C64 epson printer??

Actually, the dye-based G&G cartridges are pretty good. I've used them
for years on my Epson 740 and cannot tell any significant difference
between G&G vs Epson ink. There is a VERY slight difference in hue but
it can easily be corrected in Epson's printer driver.
Your Epson C64 uses pigment based inks and that is a whole other story.
I'm not sure that G&G makes a pigment based ink for the C-series
printers. However, I purchase my G&G from http://www.mrinkman.com
You might check their site to see if the ink you have is compatible with
your C64
