funny browser error /?%20

[grooed]

AFter recently being hijacked by CWS and idg variants,
and clearing them out using hijackthis and cwsshredder.
If i type an address in the IE browser, eg, say
http://www.shooter.com.cn and if the site is not
responding or down (or something i don;t know) my browser
returns this in the address.

http:///? www.shooter.com.cn

I don't remember my browser doing that. how do i get rid
of that and revert back to the old way?

thanks for the help. now when i type in the address, it
either has the page cannot display, or to the msn search
page. looks normal

Glad that appeared to work for you. If it's still not quite right, there
are a few more keys that possibly got corrupt, but I couldn't remember where
they were off hand.
