Full screen display for DOS

E

Eddie Wright

I have a DOS application program that runs on my
computer. With previous versions of Windows, all I had
to do was hold down the Alt key and press the enter key
and the DOS window would change to a full screen with no
borders. I am using Windows XP Home Edition and when I
hold down Alt and press Enter, I get a full screen
display, but it only holds for a few seconds and then
returns to a window about one half the size of the
screen. I have a friend who has the same type computer
using Win XP HE and his computer works fine. I used the
same property settings on my computer, but I continue to
get only one half screen.
What do I need to do to get a full screen all the time?

Are you both using the same monitor? Did you upgrade to a flat panel and he
didn't?
