Running DOS programs

Eddie Wright

How do I get a full screen when running DOS programs with
Windows XP. With 95 or 98, holding down the Alternate
key and pressing enter would give a full screen for DOS.
This doesn't work with XP. If I click on the maximize
button, I get about one half of the screen.
Help?

Alt Enter has worked for me many times.
Make sure it is "maximized" and then try hitting Alt+Enter
at the same time.
Do it again to make it non-fullscreen.

Make a shortcut to your program. Right click the shortcut and choose
Properties. Click on the Screen tab. Choose full screen.
