Full screen command prompt window?

Is there any way to get the command prompt window to fit the full screen
area? Currently when I click on the maximize button the window ends up
filling the entire length of the screen heightwise but only about 60% of the
screen widthwize. It would be nice if the entire screen was utilized because
my data streams are pretty wide most of the time.

Hit Alt + Enter and hit Alt + Enter again to get back to a window.

Also...
Right click the command prompt Title bar or right click the cmd.exe
shortcut.
Click Properties.
Options tab.
Display options.
Full screen.
