Command Prompt full screen

I have a DOS application that need to run full screen in order to work
correctly, but events, like a messanger conversation, an Outlook alarm, on
Windows restores the command prompt to a windows size. How can I keep the
DOS application full screen?

Close Messenger and Outlook.

That works, but I switch between them often, closing every time I need to
switch is very anoying. In windows 98, you could receive those alerts and the
DOS application would not restore to a window size. I tried the properties
using windows 98 compatibility, but doesn't work. Any other idea. Thanks.

You might try using TweakUI (
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx )to
tell Windows to "Prevent applications from stealing focus" (under General -
Focus). I'm not certain this will work in your case, but it's worth a
try.
