Maximizing the Command Prompt Window

N

Nathan Sokalski

When maximizing the Command Prompt window, it does not resize itself to take
up the full width of the screen (it looks like it resizes to about 80% or so
of the screen width). It resizes to the maximum screen height, but I would
like to be able to use my entire screen width as well as height. Does anyone
know of a way to do this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Open a command window. Right click the little icon in the upper left-hand
corner of the windows and select Properties. Then select "Full screen". When
prompted select the option to "Save for future ........"

I should also have mentioned that if you want to change it back just open a
command window and then press the Windows Key (key found between the Ctrl
and Alt keys) That will minimize the command window to the taskbar. Right
click the minimized command windows button on the taskbar and select
Properties then restore the Display option to Window.

You can also make these modifications by right clicking the Command Prompt
shortcut and selecting Properties.
