ftp windows error.

I use My Network places in windows xp... well Its all been going great but I
got a virus and fixed it, well ever since then when I try to upload a file to
my paid server the files only upload 2.85kb and the little windows upload
pop-ups that tell you "Calculating how much time to upload" or whatever, they
don't close by themselves anymore. Not only that but after I close my ftp
window the file upload windows turn into bars on my task bar with little
folder icons next to them. When i try to close them my computer tries to send
an error report... -.-
I talked to the server admin and he says I have over 45mb left of server
space and that the uploads aren't limited by space or bandwidth. So I'm
assuming there is something wrong with my computer. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure if this helps but it will give an idea of what i'm trying to
explain....

its the image of the file copy thing that isn't suppose to show up on the
task manager.... notice the copy is empty... that is because after i tried to
upload a file it only uploaded 2.85kb and then stopped... and became that
junk u see in that image.
