1) for instructions on publishing using FTP see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=301553
2) you will not be able to use the http mode unless your host has the FP SE installed
According to
http://www.familysafetynetwork.info/_vti_inf.html your site does not have the FP SE
(if you have use FTP then the FP SE need to be reinstalled by your host)
3) check w/ your host on the correct user ID and password for your site
(normally a user ID does not include the domain as in FSN@tetontel, and would just be FSN)

|
| Thanks for chiming in on this one.
|
| Trying your idea, I am taken to a dialog box telling me
| there is no web there and asking if I want to create one.
|
| If I click OK, it gives me the error message dialog
| telling me it is unable to open the site.
|
| As to your suggestion to contact the host, their website
| tells me to use: "
http:///www.yourdomain.com/~username"
|
| These are instructions listed for Front Page 98. There is
| no newer version of Front Page listed on their site
| instructions. This doesn't work either.
|
| By the way, I don't understand where SilverStar.Com comes
| into this whole thing. The host's domain is
|
www.tetontel.com.
