Ftp folder error

Hi, an XP SP2 PC can't access an external FTP site while
XP SP1 can. User credentials are required to logon. The
credential part seems to be working, the problem occurs
when the folder list is about to be displayed. "FTP
Folder Error. An error occurred opening that folder on
the FTP Server. Make sure you have permisison to access
that folder. Details: The operation timed out." I could
not find any solutions to this in any newsgroup. Note: We
are behing an Ms Proxy server.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try this ... in internet explorer, tools, internet
options, advanced tab ... make sure that "Use Passive
FTP" and "Enable Folder View of FTP sites" are checked. I
was having a similar problem but was able to fix it.

Good luck!
Steve
