frustrated with IME

Whenever I try to install IME 5.02, I ALWAYS get a message saying
"This version of Global IME cannot be installed on this version of Windows."

ANY HELP would be appreciated!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please read the following. It's NOT supported on Windows 2000.

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT

Required disc space depends on the IME selected. Typically at least 15mb
is required to download and install the IME.

Note: the Global IMEs are not necessary or supported on Windows 2000
since that OS has full-featured East Asian input support built in.
Please go to the Windows Control Panel, find the Regional Options applet
and do the following:
