Frozen Left Click

When I use my mouse and left click a cell, I cannot left click again. In
essence, the click remains and the cursor highlights the areas in which I
move. I cannot use any keys including ESC, ALT, or ALT+F4 to get out of this
process. I have removed the application and re-installed it with no luck.
This only happens in Excel. It occured out of the blue. I was using Excel
without any problem, then the issue started occur. I am using a Toshiba
Tecra M4-S435 with Office 2003SP2. I am running Windows XP Tablet PC
Edition. Thanks in advance

A similar question has been posted in the Excel General Question Newsgroup
by NaughtyMouse (you can search by that) on 5-Nov. That could help. Its
either likely to be

Sticky Keys (Accessibility options Start>Setting>Accessibility)
Drag lock...a mouse setting option (Start>Setting>Mouse)
Stuck keys...i.e. your keyboard has er..stuck keys
