frozen keyboard for a single user

I have a network of 20 computers (SBS2003) all using the same program for
student testing. The program runs at login and all the student can do is
enter userid and password before testing begins. 19 computers work OK. The
last computer started denying all keyboard entry only for the student
program. If you sign on as administrator, the keyboard works fine. The
mouse work OK in both cases. I cannot find a local security policy that has
been changed. The system has not been modified since 9/26/06 and no restore
points have helped. The program objects have all been reloaded to make sure
they were not corrupt.

Any ideas?

Try this:
1. Reboot the machine.
2. Log on as admin.
3. Rename the student's profile folder to xxx.bad.
4. Log on as the student.

The above process will force a new profile to be created,
which might solve the probem.
