Frontpage won't open after installing Expression Web!

Or, for not a whole lot of money, buy a new hard drive. Disconnect the
old one, install XP Pro on the new drive, reinstall your most needed
programs for the time being, then plug the old drive back in and use
it to transfer your data to the new drive. When you are satisfied with
the new install and have all the data on the new drive, wipe the old
one and use it as storage drive.

An update ... Did a defrag. I used CCleaner, got rid of all temp files, .log
files, etc. Did a registry clean (after setting a restore point and doing a
backup). Still the very same problems, same messages, still can't open FP.

Is it possible this is a hard drive going bad rather than a file/software
issue???

Since you're using XP.... open "My Computer.

Highlight "Local Drive C:"

Right-click (assuming you're right-handed) and pick "properties" from
the drop down menu that forms.

Pick the "Tools" Tab. You'll see "error-checking" on that.

Past that, I can't suggest anything more.
