I have frontpage se 2002 installed on my webserver that
has 3 websites on it. I have a root website and 2 subwebs
with extensions installed. Whenever I log into one of the
subwebs from front page (2002 & 98), after entering my
username and password I get an error message that says can
not find the file "service.cnf". I am not prevented from
getting into the web or making changes but I would like to
know how to fix the error so that my users do not see
that.

Hi Adrienne,

Try doing a "Check Server Health" [NOTE: This will reset permissions that
would have been manually set on the NTFS partition] and a "Recalculate Web"
on the FPSE Admin console. Ensure you have a backup of the site.

Vijay
