frontpage 2003 mixed up

I upated to FP2003 3 days ago. It worked fine. Today I opened a website and the toggle pane and folder view was grayed out. Tried uninstall, reinstall, restored registry, reinstalled... nothing works. I can creat a new web and the icons are available, but if I try to open another website it doesn't open the other website, but opens the file in the new web. I can't find my FP 2003 program file either (did a search) or any temp files. What is going on? I am desparate (sp) everything is messed up.

The FP 2003 program file installs by default in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\FRONTPG.EXE

Always use File Open Site (not File Open page)
