FrontPage 2002: error message when "publishing"

L

LeoB.

I'm making some cosmetic on the site (nothing major), but
since last night I'm unable to "publish" the site. This
error message pops up saying "Server error: Cannot
rename ".filename.jpg.tmp".

What's this .tmp file?

I've been able to publish all my changes w/o a hitch, but
alas, the last page is getting this error.

Not only that, but this is the THIRD TIME I have to redo
my site. I got this same EXACT error three times, on
different files (from another jpg to an htm file, but all
have the .tmp at the end).

Why is this? PLEASE HELP!!!

WinXP Pro SP1

Also find and delete all FP Temp Files
- in your windows temp folder
And delete all hidden system known file types: *.web

I appreciate your reply!
My host is also my ISP (Comcast), who hosts up to 20MB of
content for free.
On their website, I have checked that Frontpage
extensions are on.
I would assume that the permissions are also set
correctly -what type of permissions? Write/read, etc?

Like I said, I was able to publish before, but usually
towards the end of the last page to be published, this
error comes up.

Contact your host and ask then to check the permissions.

Then ask them why:

"Server error: Cannot rename ".filename.jpg.tmp".

is happening if the permissions are correct.
