Frontpage 2002 Deleting Web Pages

Hi,
I have a web site with the master on my pc at home and the host is a remote
server. I upload regularly new pages and now have got to the stage where i
need to look at removing some of the earlier pages . These pages contain
brief text and are mostly photos created by using the insert/web
component/photogallery commands. Photos can be up to 80 per page.I always use
the http upload choice from the file/dropdown/publish web menu.

My question is this. When I delete these web pages in my master copy on my
pc at home and then go publish web, should i expect the corresponding pages
on the remote host server to also automatically delete the pages and all
thumbs and pics at that serverbe also deleted? The remote host is running a
linux system with i believe apache and front page extensions.
I have been given conflicting info.
1 Yes it will
2 No you have to publish the site using http access the remote site (which i
can see okay) and manually delete the pages at that level.

All help advice gratefully received
Cheers

As long as the 2 locations are in sync, then when you publish with the Change Page Only option
selected, then you should be prompted to allow any local file that were deleted to be deleted from
the destination server during publishing.
