Frontpage 2002 and hit counter

Morning!
I have moved out website to a new server/domain, and now have use of
frontpage extensions for the first time. I added a hit counter through
Frontpage with >Insert>Web Component>Hit counter, selected my counter and
tagged the radial button to reset the counter to the count at the old site
(3000). I saved and published it to the new location, but in viewing it
there, the counter starts at "1". How do I get it to start at the old
number, "3000"? I cannot find how to edit it so that it works properly.

Open the online Web in Frontpage and reset the counter there.
