Frontpage 2000 will not open files generated in Frontpage 98?

icon does not come up as explorer icon (for .htm) files

normal htm files produce message "Cannot open file..."

when attempted to open.

What's the problem here? MS FP 2000 is refusing to
open .htm files.

Sounds like a problem with the 2000 installation.
I've never had a problem.
