Inserting Word Files into Frontpage

We just had a motherboard go bad on a computer that we were running Frontpage
on. Now that I have installed it on a new computer, there are some things
not working as they did before. One is when we take the option to insert a
Word file into a web page. When we select the file a message comes up that
says it is converting the file to html. When it did this before, it would
actually create a gif file from the Word file and that file would be saved in
the directory where we had opened the current htm file we were working on.
Now it saves that file in the directory where the Word file exists. I have
looked and looked and cannot find where to change this. How can I change it
to save the new file with my web site files?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

File import the Word file into your FP site first
For the correct way to add a Word file as html see
