Could some help i added a form into my web site and it can up with this form is being created on a disk - based web or the front page server extensions have not been configured to send email. please dirct your system administrator or internet service provider to the instructions n " setting up email options on windows or "setting up email options on UNIX in the server extensions resource kit. if you do not have the server extensions resource kit you can find it at http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/sirk

i downloaded the server kit and also front page server extensions 2002 it installed but comes up with you do not have microsoft internet information server please down load microsoft internet information server (IIS) 4.0 or greater

but i cant seem to downlaod it and i'm not even sure it right

please help i can

First, to test locally you'll need a web server. Win 98 has the Personal Web
Server 4 (a cousin of IIS 4) on the Win 98 CD. Win NT users can download it
as part of the NT Option Pack. Win 2000/XP Pro users can install it from the
Control Panel | Add/Remove Software | Add/Remove Windows Components and
selecting Internet Information Server. Usually the install of the web server
will include a version of the FP 2000 or earlier server extensions. After
the web server is installed you can install the FP 2002 server extensions.
After you install the web server go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com to get
the security patches for it as MS has released several patches to enhance
the security of computers running the IIS family of web servers.

You maynot need all of this though. This only effects your ability to test
certain features that need a web server. If you are hosting the web
somewhere you can still publish it to your host to make it work there. This
way you don't have to worry about the web server on your computer because
the web server can pose security issues for you and may be more trouble that
it is worth if you aren't familiar with web servers.
